Koala hitching a ride?
Close encounter with a very large male Koala looking to hitch a ride to Apollo Bay? Interesting that he was in a banskia tree and not the local manna gums surrounding Kennett River. It's said that if the Koalas are not getting enough water they will search other trees for moisture. Also if Koalas are not getting the nutrients they need or they are feeling ill they will try and eat other varieties of trees.
